New Cursive songs (youtube videos)

So, Cursive used to be my favorite band. I was seriously in love with everything Tim Kasher touched. They still hold a pretty solid place in my heart, and I have a feeling their upcoming album (Title TBA) is going to be excellent. Here are some videos of new songs from their show in Madison, Wisconsin:

"Couldn't Love You"

"Hips"

I can't wait to hear what they put out this year!

NPR Live Concert Series

Since WSRN's website isn't up yet, you should definitely check out NPR's Live Concert Series from All Songs Considered. I know you kids all listen to NPR anyway, but I figured I should put up a link for those of you not in the know. Here you can listen to the likes of Bon Iver, Gogol Bordello, Animal Collective, Rilo Kiley, Nickel Creek, and Femi Kuti performing live at various venues in and around D.C. You can listen to Black Mountain and Bon Iver's show from last night at the Rock and Roll Hotel, especially if you missed out on them performing here in Philly tonight like I did/am right now. I'm listening to Bon Iver's performance and it is fabulous. Here's a video of Justin Vernon aka Bon Iver performing "Lump Sum":

Nice.
Did everybody see the lunar eclipse? I was hoping for something more... total. It was still really cool though. Solar eclipses freak me out. Dark Moon Circus, anyone? Haha, anyway, I hope you have a nice rest of the week. Don't forget to listen to the show this Sunday from 6 to 7! It's gonna be radtacular and the website should hopefully be up by then. Yay bye.

Testing testing

Hola panecillos amados! I've decided to start a blog for the radio show I host with Abe. It's called Sealed With A Kick and it airs on Sundays from 6-7 PM starting February 17th. Here I'll post playlists, mixes, songs we didn't have time to play/were too profane, reviews (maybe), and all sorts of fun stuff. You can comment on music you liked/hated and make requests. I want this to be as interactive as possible, so listen and comment and participate!

Here's the super fantabulous pilot after which our radio show is named! Bask in its glory:
